PEARSON'S POPCORN CAKE

Yet, another easy recipe (you can thank me later)


9 quarts of popped popcorn
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 pounds marshmallows
1-2 (1 pound) packages of M&M's plain
1-2 large cans mix peanuts
food coloring (optional)


In large saucepan, melt butter or margarine and add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Remove from heat and add food coloring, if desired. Pour over popcorn, M&M's and nut mix and stir well. Quickly press into buttered angel food or large bundt pan, cool for 5 minutes then turn out into a plate.  Can also use this recipe to make popcorn balls (heh, heh, heh, I said "balls", heh, heh, heh....)
